Xiaomi’s eerste laptop is de Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air. De laptop is verkrijgbaar in twee versies, waarbij de krachtigere versie een iets groter 13,3 inch scherm heeft en de kleine over een 12,5 inch-scherm beschikt. De laptops zijn gemaakt van metaal en wegen slechts 1,07 kilogram. Opvallend is dat er geen logo aan de achterkant te vinden is. Dit in tegenstelling tot veel laptops van concurrenten. Hierdoor heeft de laptop een minimalistische look. In september 2017 bracht Xiaomi de Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro uit.
De schermen van beide laptops zijn full HD schermen met beschermend glas van rand tot rand. De randen rondom het scherm zijn ook kleiner dan bij concurrenten waardoor de laptop zelf ook kleiner is. De laptops hebben speciale dubbele AKG-speaker die zorgen voor Dolby digital surround sound.
De Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air heeft twee normale USB aansluitingen, een USB Type-C poort, een audio poort en een HDMI aansluiting.

De krachtigste Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air heef een 13,3 inch scherm. De laptop heeft een Intel Core i5 processor en draait Windows 10. De laptop heeft 8gb DDr4 werkgeheugen en een 256gb SSD opslagschijf. Het geheugen is uitbreidbaar met een tweede SSD. De laptop heeft een NVIDIA GeForce 940MX grafische kaart. De batterij houdt het 9,5 uur vol en kan tot 50% opgeladen worden in slechts een half uur.
Ontgrendelen met Xiaomi Mi Band
Natuurlijk werkt de nieuwe Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air naadloos samen met andere Xiaomi producten. Heb je een Mi Band, dan hoef je geen wachtwoord in te vullen tijdens het ontgrendelen van de laptop.
