De Mi Airdots Pro 2 zijn de opvolger van de Airdots Pro. In diverse opzichten zijn deze draadloze oortjes een verbetering. Als eerst heeft Xiaomi de geluidskwaliteit van de AirDots verbeterd. Zo maken de oordopjes gebruik van lhdc-codering. Dat staat voor low latency en high definition. Dit zorgt dat er drie keer zoveel data verstuurd kan worden, wat betekent dat er beter geluid uit de oortjes komt.

Noise cancelling en andere opties

Daarnaast heeft Xiaomi ook andere specificaties van de oortjes aangepast. Zo zijn de Airdots Pro 2 oortjes met 4,5 gram ruim 20% lichter dan hun voorgangers. Daarnaast maken de oortjes gebruik van ENC, oftewel Environmental Noise Cancelling. Dit zorgt ervoor dat externe geluiden geblokkeerd worden en je eenvoudiger telefoongesprekken kunt voeren en muziek kunt luisteren.

Om ook extra energie te besparen, maken de Airdots Pro 2 gebruik van Bluetooth 5.0. Dat zorgt daarbij direct voor minder storingen en een beter bereik. De Airdots Pro 2 gaan met een volle batterij zo’n 4 uur mee. Het meegeleverde opbergdoosje bevat tevens een batterij. Met het opbergdoosje erbij, verleng je de batterijduur met nog zo’n 10 uur. Binnen één uur laad je zowel de oortjes als het opbergdoosje volledig op.
