De Xiaomi Mi Watch is de eerste smartwatch van Xiaomi. Het ontwerp heeft veel weg van de Apple Watch, met het vierkante schermpje. Drie scenario’s en laag energieverbruik
De Xiaomi Mi Watch heeft drie verschillende scenario’s. Dat zijn moment waarop de interface wordt aangepast aan dat specifieke moment. Zo is er een Enhanced Modus, Professionele Sportmodus en Traditioneel Horloge Modus. Iedere modus heeft een eigen doel. Zo zorgt de Enhanced modus ervoor dat je smartwatch er stijlvol uitziet door gebruik te maken van diverse themes. De Professionele modus meet continue je GPS en hartslag zodat je een goed overzicht krijgt van al je inspanningen. Wanneer je zo lang mogelijk met de batterij wilt doen kun je de Traditionele Horloge modus selecteren. Dan worden vrijwel alle functies uitgeschakeld.
Overige specificaties
De smartwatch van Xiaomi zit vol met opties, waaronder een ingebouwde GPS, Bluetooth NFC, WiFi en een hartslagmeter. Ook kun je er geluiden mee afspelen, door middel van de ingebouwde luidspreker. De Mi Watch draait op de Snapdragon Wear 3100 chip met quad-core Cortex A7 architectuur. De chip heeft een kloksnelheid van 1.2 GHz. Daarnaast maakt Xiaomi met de Mi Watch gebruik van het MIUI design in plaats van Wear OS.
De batterij met 570 mAh gaat zo’n 36 uur mee wanneer je de 4G continue aan laat staan op het horloge. Het scherm van de smartwatch is een 1,78 Inch AMOLED scherm met 336 PPI. Dat is hetzelfde scherm als in de Apple Watch 5. Het interne geheugen van de Mi Watch bedraagt 4 GB. Dat kun je gebruiken voor het opslaan van muziek of het downloaden van apps.
