De Xiaomi AirDots zijn de eerste True Wireless oortjes die op de markt kwamen onder de naam van Xiaomi. Door het design lijken deze oortjes behoorlijk op de goedkopere Redmi Airdots, die overigens een groot deel van de specificaties deelt met de Xiaomi Airdots.

Bluetooth & functies

In de Xiaomi AirDots wordt gebruik gemaakt van Bluetooth 5.0. Dit is een Bluetooth versie met een redelijk groot bereik, waardoor je de telefoon tijdens het sporten bijvoorbeeld niet perse in je zak hoeft te houden. Andere functies van de oortjes zijn het opnemen van telefoontjes, ingebouwde microfoon, voice control en noise cancelling eigenschappen. De oortjes kun je koppelen met alle mobiele telefoons. Batterijduur en gewicht

De Xiaomi AirDots zijn voorzien van een batterijcapaciteit van 40 mAh. Dit zorgt ervoor dat je tot maximaal 2-4 uur gebruik kun maken van de oordopjes. De standby tijd bedraagt ca. 12 uur. Om de batterij weer op te laden, kun je gebruik maken van de oplaadcase. Het volledig opladen van de AirDots kost je ca. 1,5 uur.

De AirDots zijn met slechts 4,2 gram bijzonder lichte oordopjes. De oortjes zitten daarom redelijk comfortabel in je oren. Ben je eerder op zoek naar oortjes die lijken op de Apple AirPods en maak het gewicht je minder uit? Dan kun je het beste kiezen voor de Xiaomi AirDots Pro. Met ruim 11 gram wegen die wel bijna drie keer zoveel.
